Strategic Partnership Brings Together “Zain Cash” and “Petra Ride”

As part of its ongoing efforts to promote financial inclusion and accelerate the transition toward a digital economy in Jordan, Zain Cash has signed a strategic partnership agreement with Petra Ride, the Jordanian ride-hailing application.

The partnership aims to simplify daily digital financial transactions for Petra Ride drivers, offering them a smoother and more secure digital financial experience.

This collaboration reflects Zain Cash’s continued commitment to fostering innovation, expanding the digital payments ecosystem, and strengthening its network of fintech partners across the Kingdom. The partnership also aligns with Zain Cash strategy to broaden access to digital financial services, advance financial inclusion, and support the development of a more inclusive and sustainable digital community, enabling individuals to manage their finances with greater ease and security.

Under this agreement, a dedicated corporate wallet will be created for Petra Ride on Zain Cash, allowing instant payment transfers to drivers. Additionally, drivers will be able to open their own e-wallets to access funds and complete financial transactions securely and conveniently. Petra Ride e-vouchers will also be made available through Zain Cash application, enabling users to purchase and redeem them directly within the app.

Through this partnership, Petra Ride drivers will join Zain Cash ecosystem and gain access to a wide range of digital financial services. Zain Cash users can carry out various transactions such as deposits and withdrawals, payments at retail outlets, restaurants, and other merchants, and online shopping locally and internationally through Zain Cash Mastercard issued to wallet holders upon registration.

Zain Cash also offers Sharia-compliant credit cards in three categories: Classic, Platinum, and World, with no interest or fees, providing customers with enhanced benefits and comprehensive financial solutions. Issued in collaboration with Mastercard, the cards offer credit limits ranging from 100 JOD to 5,000 JOD, without the need for salary transfers or issuance fees, and include a 2% cashback reward for all users.
