Orange Jordan in Partnership with E4DE Concludes Training Program for Entrepreneurs’ Mentors

Orange Jordan has concluded an intensive training programme for more than 70 experts and specialists in entrepreneurship from across the Kingdom. The programme aimed to enable participants to provide guidance and mentorship to startups, strengthening the startups’ capacity to develop innovations and increase their business resilience. The training was delivered through five intensive training courses held in Aqaba, Irbid, and Amman.

The training programme was organized under the umbrella of the Private Sector Access to Support Startups (PASS) programme, which is implemented by Orange Jordan with the support of the Entrepreneurship for Sustainable Economic Development and Employment (E4DE) project implemented by GIZ, and co-funded by the Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development (BMZ) and the European Union (EU).

Delivered by the Business and Professional Women Association (BPWA), under the supervision and management of Orange Jordan, the programme covered a range of core modules designed to enable participants to serve effectively as mentors. The training covered understanding mentorship responsibilities and navigating key challenges, developing skills in communication, effective questioning and active listening, providing constructive feedback, and building trust with mentees. It also focused on root-cause analysis of business challenges, turning outcomes into actionable plans, understanding beneficiaries’ behaviors, building a supportive resource network, and planning out the mentorship journey to drive sustainable impact for entrepreneurs.

Orange Jordan reaffirmed its commitment to advancing the Kingdom’s entrepreneurship ecosystem as the true responsible digital leader. The company emphasized its dedication to building an integrated entrepreneurial framework that enables promising ideas to grow into success stories through the Orange Digital Center’s BIG by Orange, startup incubators, and business accelerators programs.

The company added that this initiative stems from its belief in the vital role of mentorship in fostering the growth of Jordan’s entrepreneurial ecosystem. This initiative aligns with its efforts to establish a national network of private sector mentors in the coming phase.

It is worth noting that the PASS programme aims to support 130 startups until October 2026 by enhancing entrepreneurs’ skills through specialized training and mentorship with the aim of increasing sales and improving productivity. The programme focuses on providing practical support that aligns with market demands and addresses the needs of startups across various stages of growth.
