Amman, 12th May 2026: Zain eSports Jo organized PMNC PUBG MENA WC Championship in collaboration with Tencent Games, in one of the region’s most prominent professional PUBG Mobile tournaments, which witnessed wide participation from players and teams across various countries.

The tournament was organized under an official license from Tencent, as part of the ongoing efforts of Zain eSports to support the gaming and esports sector and further strengthen this field in the region through professional tournaments and competitions within this rapidly growing industry.

The championship was held across several stages, including open qualifiers, followed by the group stage, leading up to the finals. The qualifiers attracted more than 11,000 teams, with the participation of over 21,000 male and female players, while the top-performing teams advanced to the later stages of the tournament, which featured 80 participating teams.

The tournament included 51 competitive matches, among them 15 matches that were streamed live across digital platforms, drawing significant engagement and interaction from esports audiences and fans, with total views surpassing 636,000.

In Jordan specifically, the tournament witnessed strong participation from the local gaming community and teams, with the qualifiers recording more than 4,500 participating teams and over 9,700 male and female players. This reflects the growing presence of esports in the Kingdom and the expanding community of enthusiasts, in addition to Jordan’s increasingly prominent position as a regional hub for gaming talent and specialized esports tournaments.

The total prize pool presented by Zain eSports Center amounted to USD 10,000, distributed among the top 16 teams, in addition to a special MVP award for the tournament’s best player, with the aim of fostering competitive spirit and encouraging players to further develop their professional skills.

Team "Nigma Galaxy" secured first place and claimed the tournament title, while "KHK Esports" finished in second place, followed by "Earthquake" in third place, after intense competition throughout the final stages.

Zain eSports Center emphasized that organizing this tournament comes as part of its strategy aimed at supporting and empowering the gaming and esports community across the region, while providing opportunities for young talents to access professional competitive platforms at both the local and regional levels, in addition to strengthening collaboration with leading global entities specialized in the gaming industry.
